Handmade by Navajo silversmith Leander Tahe, this substantial pair of sterling silver statement earrings features bold repoussé work surrounded by intricate hand-stamped detailing. Lightweight enough for every day wear and surprisingly comfortable in my personal and honest opinion.
Each oversized square dangle is built around a cutout center and framed with raised silver florals, dimensional corner accents, scalloped edges and deeply oxidized stampwork. Even the post tops carry the floral repoussé design, making these a statement from top to bottom.
The contrast between the polished raised silver and darkened recesses gives the entire design incredible depth — and at 24 grams for the pair, there is no mistaking these for lightweight, mass-produced silver.
